Roberto Fazio (born in Germany, 1978) is an indipendent creative media designer, 3D visual architect and teacher based in Bologna, Italy. Roberto Fazio's work explores the aesthetic and sensorial possibilities of linking 3d visual mapping, interaction design and code creative programming, aiming to create visual experiences turned into a course of sensory perception. In recent years his research has mainly focused on 3d architectural mapping projects; his work has dealt with the conception and production of 3d contents expressly designed for large buildings. From 2008 to 2010 he is charter member of Apparati Effimeri. After his experience as a 3d visual designer he has decided to carry out a new artistic course, constantly searching and conceiving new solutions. His pursue is the implementation of code programming such as Objective-C, OpenFrameworks and Processing in his designs and researches, in order to broaden his knoweledge and artistic horizons. He encourages and supports the Open Source philosophy. Roberto helds talks and workshops about 3d architectural mapping and live media at private companies, institutes and festivals.
