Mediation Training Institute East Africa (MTI East Africa) is the foremost provider of training, certification and consulting in mediation (workplace and basic) in the African continent. Our mission is to promote and facilitate the development and the use of mediation in everyday life as a means of building better relationships at the workplace, courts, and home and in the community. To achieve this, we operate on the following main objectives ● Training mediation and related areas through open enrolment or customized seminars and workshops. ● Certification to assess and certify candidates who fulfill the certification requirements ● Mediation Services and related services that parties may request ● Support, engage in, conduct and foster research in the field relevant to mediation ● Promotion of mediation profession to participate in regulation and management, support and guidance of practitioners of mediation and related dispute resolving systems ● National and International Relations; to develop, maintain and nurture relations with similar organizations within Kenya and throughout the world ● Public Awareness; to initiate activities which are designed to promote public awareness of advantages of using mediation and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. ● Publications; to initiate, support or develop publication of magazines, periodicals and other legal material on mediation
