As a Faculty we aim to recognise and celebrate the great achievement of our students, creating a culture of success, achievement and aspiration. AAS has been designed to support our students to achieve, achieve higher and to think bigger! Members of AAS are recognised for their academic achievement, their progression and for excelling whilst studying in the Faculty. AAS’s aim is to enhance students’ personal and professional development, further their academic skills, involvement and possible employment in the BLSS community, enabling them to become global citizens. The Academic Awards Scheme works hand in hand with Graduate+, Careers Team and the Centre of Academic Success. Members will be given opportunities to shape their own learning journey to reach their full potential and to develop an exceptional personal profile to take with them after they have successfully completed their degree.
