The Paragon Group was formed in 1990 by James L. This and Bernie Benson. The company specialized in planning and training services for financial institutions and state agencies. In 1995 the name was changed to The Paragon Consulting Group. From 1995 to 2007 Paragon added other partners, each with experience in critical areas of leadership and with a deep commitment to developing quality client relationships. The company quickly earned a reputation for excellence and personal touch. In July 2007 The Paragon Group was purchased by TwinStar Credit Union and became a wholly-owned CUSO (Credit Union Service Organization). This provided Paragon a much broader reach and additional resources for expanding staff and consulting tools. Since 2007, Paragon has significantly expanded its staff and services to include Strategic Planning, Organizational Development, Volunteer Leadership Development, Risk Management Solutions and Executive Recruiting. We currently maintain a staff of 11 talented individuals and expect that number to keep growing.
