WRIPAC was first established in 1979 and it consists of 30+ public sector agencies representing state and local governments and other public agencies in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Oregon. There is no membership fee and meetings are free to attend. Our objectives are: -To develop & share personnel selection procedures. -To provide a forum for the review of professional & legal selection issues. -To assist member jurisdictions in maintaining professional personnel selection standards & in complying with legal requirements & guidelines. -To promote the principles of merit selection & equal employment opportunities. -To improve communication among member jurisdictions & with other regional assessment groups.
