Peter was awarded and certified as a Master Photographer by the prestigious Master Photographers Association (UK) in 2009. He was also inducted into the Canon Malaysia’s inaugural EOS Hall of Fame in 2009 as well. He served as the Honorary Advisor after having been elected as the inaugural President (2010-2011) in the professional body WPPM (Wedding & Portrait Photographers Malaysia). He and his team successfully organized the first WPPM conference in 2010. He now runs a photographer’s networking event, Behind The Lens, a monthly talk show and interview series for the benefit of emerging and new photographers, sponsored by various camera and accessories companies. In 2011, he won first place in the Open Category in Far East MPA Conference, attended by various photographers from around the region. Peter has been appointed thrice (3) in-a-row as a judge in Canon’s Annual Photomarathon (2009-2010-2011) in Malaysia and also several other photo competitions. He was the featured photographer personality on Gliterrati by the Carat Club, Malaysia’s premier diamond jeweler, featured in Gorgeous magazine and in China Press, a local Chinese daily. Peter has shot a 7 page spread for international superstar Patrizio Buanne and his image was used as the cover of FACES magazine April 2010 issue. His work has been published in Cosmopolitan Bride Malaysia, June 2010 issue. He was also recently the only official photographer for Bruno Mars 2011 concert and Jason Mraz 2012 concert, both in Malaysia, appointed by WARNER Music Malaysia. In 2016, Peter was appointed as the Leica S Ambassador for Leica’s range of medium format cameras. Also in 2016, Peter was appointed one of 12 global ambassadors for ASUS Zenfone.
