We succeed or fail together, not by competing for a position but by enabling those around us. People are capable of achieving great things, both individually and as a group; and the majority of us don't realize that potential because we can't see past our current situation. We don't take the time to establish a vision for ourselves, for our lives, for our families, and we fall into this trap of just careening from one event to the next, doing the best we can in each moment. Alternatively, we establish a vision without considering our values, so we're achieving our goals, we are outwardly successful, but internally we feel like a failure because our success doesn't leave us feeling fulfilled.
