KONSTART is an art gallery, shop and studio located at Hökens gata 11 in center of Stockholm, Sweden. Here you can buy and create art. Arrangement of art exhibitions with scandinavian contemporary artist, known and unknown different art forms as photo, abstract, figurative, graffiti and more. The art shop includes posters, screen prints, illustrations, sketches & paintings by several artists, for example Ola Kalnins, KAOS, Lajozz, Niki Cash, Anton Wiraeus, Mattias Bäcklin, Juan Cano, Yvonne Pettersson, Martin Aalykke, Rikard Falk, Cecilia Haupt, Siv Varhaugvik, Liam Norberg MERLEY We also have art books and limited edt of arty merchandise. The studio at Konstart arrange painting events for private groups and companies such as bachelorette parties, kids parties, after work painting, kick-offs, team building days. All groups work after a suitable theme, we do different exercise often according to music to get inspired. There after you can choose either make your own canvas individually or together in a group. We work with acrylic paint. Sometimes we arrange some of our exhibited artists for workshops. The participants will get insight how the artist work & learn basic techniques. Konstart share locale with the record shop Snickars Records run by the Stockholm based DJ Mika Snickars since 1995. Snickars Records buy, trade and sell both second hand & new dance music on vinyl.
