Science City Bristol is working on behalf of the science, technology and business communities to help make the Bristol region a great place to start and grow science and technology businesses. Our aim is to support the growth of a connected science and technology community and tell “the Bristol story” by communicating all the creative, dedicated work that takes place in the science and technology sectors. We have four specific streams of activity which are: 1. BEN network/events: Network focused on technology entrepreneurs. Events and information exchange aimed at connecting the science and technology community. 2. Venturefest Bristol: Annual event focusing on innovation and funding to bring together investors, entrepreneurs and universities. 3. Telling the Bristol story: Through website content and connections we promote the great opportunities for the technology and science sectors in the Bristol region. 4. Public engagement: Led by well-connected advisory boards from a cross section of the science and technology communities we aim to heighten public awareness, interest and involvement in science and technology activities in the Bristol region.
