Promprylad.Renovation is an innovation center on base of revitalized plant in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, focusing on four areas of regional development: new economy, urbanism, contemporary art and education. Project aims to realize city and region economic potential, develop local entrepreneurship and create a model for other cities. Over the next five years, project will attract more than 700 million hryvnias of impact investments from private investors and organizations to phase-in six buildings and a park. There will be office space, laboratories, workshops, exhibition and entertainment centers, hotel and hostel, farm market, restaurants. In addition, a third part of the area will be provided under reduced rent rate to cultural and social initiatives, whose vision coincides with the one of the project. On February 1st, the project signed a Share Purchase Agreement for 82% of shares of the plant and paid out the first tranche. Upon the agreement reached, the purchase agreement will be closed by the end of the current year, when the last payment will be made according to the agreed schedule. The total budget of the project is $25 million in impact investments. Currently the project is at the stage of attracting investments. The project team aims to unite creative potential of the city to promote regional development. 1.2 million dollars have been raised to launch the pilot floor of the project. It is 1,783 square meters of the reconstructed area on the 3rd floor of the plant, which already has 12 different business, educational and cultural functions operating on the floor.
