The Patient Well Being Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to helping physicians, patients, caregivers, and other providers “manage health” to improve personal well-being, reduce unnecessary costs and extend disability free life expectancy. The United States has a framework for managing healthcare and lacks one for managing health. PWBF is researching the determinants of health status, the cost-effective interventions that address these determinants and how this could be integrated into healthcare system workflows and financial models. PWBF provides insight into determinants of health and the cost-effective interventions that work to address them to improve well-being, outcomes and reduce overall cost.
