Ibad Al Rahman Association
www.ibadalrahman.orgIbad Al-Rahman Association is a non-profit NGO established in Lebanon in 1951. It is recognized by the Lebanese State by virtue of decree No 3517. Their mission includes: “promote the highest ethical standards, activate social solidarity, cooperate with all those who work for the good of the society and provide the appropriate environment to raise the awareness of the community religiously, humanely and culturally.” Their activities encompass a wide spectrum of services addressed towards the needy including support in the fields of food, orphans support, medical needs, medications, schooling, clothing, furniture, electrical appliances, books, stationary, vocational training, psychological support and learning difficulties. Under the social services umbrella, the association also provides employment services, promotes volunteering and has a well-established reusing program for furniture, home appliances, computers, clothes and books. It also has a recycling program for paper, plastic, used cooking oil and aluminum cans.
