Studio Grafico Naturalistico is an Italian/German company currently located in Berlin. The main mission of the company is to artistically recreate naturalistic landscapes in the most precise way. The company works mainly in European Zoos (Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland) and for private clients. SGN was founded in 1994 in Verona, Italy by Uwe Thuernau an acclaimed artist whose background was naturalistic painter. His unique approach to representing lifelike scenarios has set in motion a collective of freelance artists and sculptors who conjointly work on the entirety of projects. The process entails the initial construction of small-scale models for the client to the realisation of a structure.
