In the Tiwi language of Northern Territory, Miyartuwi means Pandanus, only one of four skin or Yiminga groups across the pristine Tiwi Islands. Miyartuwi Dreaming is a charitable not-for profit organisation designed to holistically support Indigenous applicants across the employment landscape with a view to provide grants to assist community groups in the following areas; • Accommodation, meals, equipment, and discretionary items needed for Indigenous people to look for and stay in employment • Financial literacy • Cultural awareness • Student Training contributions • Transport options • Financial support required before initial pay. • Training equipment needed such as; laptops, books, stationary, phones etc; • Household items • Other support services such as; o Mental health services o Drug and alcohol support o Childcare o Counselling Creating equality across the Indigenous employment landscape by holistically collaborating with other service providers to holistically provide wrap around support.
