The Domestic Violence Resource Center (formerly the Committee to Aid Abused Women) provides free services for people experiencing family violence. We connect individuals and families in Washoe County with essential resources to help them restore safety and reclaim their lives. Our services include Temporary Protection Orders, Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, Support Groups, Transportation/Food/Clothing Assistance, and a 24/7 Crisis Hotline.
