PPL - The reference Crowdfunding platform in Portugal We are a team passionate about collective wisdom, collaboration and the innovation potential living inside each individual and user. The technological breakthroughs allow for communication and cooperation capabilities like never before. Virtual networks can capture an incredible intelligence and collective wisdom that far surpasses that of a single individual. The same applies to mass creativity. One other consequence is the better judgement and selection of the projects that can better serve the purpose of our communities. And, last but not least, we now have the possibility to donate and/or invest in ideas, projects and entities that matter to a given group or crowd (Crowdfunding). There are several terms and ways to call these movements. A common and aggregation term is known as Crowdsourcing. Orange Bird promotes crowdsourcing in Portugal. Namely, it launched this crowdfunding platform: PPL, which means PPL (people) with Portugal, or ppl.com.pt. It is exciting to live in innovative periods such as these, where communication channels and capital flow are suffering disruptive transformations, that can significantly improve the well-being of an entire community.
