BCT is in existence because there are currently no cost effective, easily accessible and reliable body composition & anthropometry measurement tools available in the global market. Medical imaging is expensive, difficult to access and can expose individuals to harmful radiation. Non-invasive body composition methods like body impedance meters and hydrostatic weighting are inaccurate or outdated. BCT aims to bridge this gap through the use of innovative evidence-based scientific and engineering research.
