BlackLight™ is a browser plug-in tied to our propriety database - the largest database of Black-owned businesses in the United States. Using BlackLight™ with your usual search engine makes it easy for consumers to find and support Black-owned businesses, with little added effort. Using BlackLight™ is as simple as getting the BlackLight™ browser plug-in from the Chrome store (coming soon). Install the plugin on your Chrome browser, then search like you normally would. If Black-owned businesses match your search, you’ll see them in your results, above your usual search results. Our first initiative is a platform to promote Black-owned businesses, but our technology is extensible to other minority-owned business groups as well. We envision a future where consumers can use our plug-ins to shop by whatever category they like: Black-owned, Women-owned, Asian-owned, LGBTQ+ owned, etc.
