Founded in 1984, the Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia (RCOG) has earned a reputation for being one of the country’s top cancer treatment and research facilities because of its commitment to quality, use of the latest radiation technology and focus on research that enables it to treat men and women with different types of cancer, including breast, prostate, gynecological, head, neck, lung, colon, thoracic and lymphatic malignancies. In addition, RCOG has compiled its observations of these men, both before and after treatment, into one of the largest computerized databases on prostate cancer in the United States. RCOG has clinics in Decatur, Lawrenceville, Snellville, Covington, and Conyers. All are accredited by the American College of Radiology, and each is staffed with a multi-disciplinary team that includes a board-certified radiation oncologist, radiation therapists, registered nurses, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and nutritional counseling. Professional personnel are also available on-site to assist patients with financial counseling and assistance with payment for treatment.
