CBTOM is a full service clinic that treats offenders through cognitive behavior therapy. We are an MDOC preferred provider for the treatment of sexual offenders. Our services include concurrent high-risk and low-risk group therapy programs. We also conduct clinical and psychological assessments and testing. We have licensed psychologists and licensed master level social workers on staff who work with serious offenders. Our treatment programs are effective because they are extremely structured. Due to the nature of these crimes, discussion of deviant behavior is difficult. The structured atmosphere facilitates group member into confronting issues that they normally would avoid in more relaxed settings. CBTOM has a less than 1% recidivism rate. Out of the hundreds of program graduates, only one has committed any offenses since program completion.
