The Kinni Corridor Collaborative is a community-lead, non-profit organization tasked with implementing the Kinnickinnic River Corridor Plan (KRCP). While we will be working closely with the city to complete many of tasks outlined in the KRCP, we are not a government entity. Some of our members were involved with the planning process, however our organization was created after the plan was approved by the River Falls City Council. We understand that the Kinnickinnic River is an important aspect of our community and there are multiple viewpoints on how things should be done surrounding our beautiful natural resource. While we encourage open and honest discussion, we ask that you remain tactful and respectful in your comments towards others who are part of our community. Mission: to work collaboratively with public and private organizations and individuals to assemble the technical and financial resources needed to implement the current Kinnickinnic River Corridor Plan while preserving the ecology and beauty of the Kinnickinnic River. VISION As we look to the future of: The Kinni, we see an enhanced river corridor in the heart of the community with a free flowing, cold-water stream and habitat that everyone can access and enjoy; and Our community, we see a network of partners, private and public landowners, and passionate, engaged citizens acting to create sustainable development, educational, recreational and public spaces that attract economic, public and private investment.
