Our mission is to build bridges between academia, the legal profession, and the Games and Interactive Entertainment industries for the purpose of facilitating high-impact, industry-informed, multidisciplinary research. More Than Just a Game was developed in 2015 by Dr Gaetano Dimita, Gamer and Interactive Entertainment Law scholar, to encourage collaboration among the industry, legal profession, and academics at a time when games and interactive entertainment are facing unprecedented new challenges relating to social issues, industry autonomy, and the regulation of technology. Each conference is themed to gather specific perspectives informing future research and policy papers.
