Mountain Dreams Press is an publisher of online content about the mountains of the eastern United States. Our first online content was published beginning in May of 2006 at North Carolina Mountain Dreams. That first website was originally published with the help of Blogger. It wasn’t long before I made the decision to move the website to a self-hosted WordPress setup. North Carolina Mountain Dreams added a sister site in January of 2009 with the creation of Virginia Mountain Dreams. It wasn’t long before I expanded into Tennessee Mountain Dreams. It was at about that time that I began to think about trying to expand into the entire Appalachian Mountain Range. So in June of 2009 I added the following domains to my growing publishing “empire”:
