Audi Formula Racing GmbH
audi-formula-racing.jobs.personio.deAudi Formula Racing GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of Audi Sport and was founded in 2022 for the brand’s Formula 1 entry. From 2026, the Four Rings will enter the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, popular throughout the world, with an internally developed power unit and a works team. The program will spearhead Audi’s works-based motorsport activities going forward. The power unit will be developed at Audi Sport’s state-of-the-art Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg an der Donau, close to AUDI AG’s headquarters in Ingolstadt. The site, which opened in 2014, is one of the most modern of its kind and is currently being significantly expanded for the F1. This means a Formula 1 power unit will be made in Germany for the first time since 2009. This decision was driven by the rule changes announced by the governing body of world motorsports, the FIA. From 2026, the use of sustainable synthetic fuels will be required and the electrical portion of the hybrid power unit will be increased to almost 50 percent. Audi intends to actively support the transformation of what is by far the most important motorsport series. Famous on a global scale, highly emotional and technologically advanced – Formula 1 is a spectacular platform for the most demanding electrified racing cars in the world. Audi is rising to the challenge of demonstrating “Vorsprung durch Technik” in this competitive environment and is putting together a highly specialized team to develop the power unit. Our basis is a diverse know-how from motorsport projects such as Formula E, Dakar Rally or the Le Mans era. Join this unique project in highest level of motorsports and be a part of Audi’s journey as it writes the next chapter in its motorsport history. #PerformanceIsAnAttitude
