The New Humanity Initiative
www.thenewhumanityinitiative.orgThe New Humanity Initiative® is a purpose-fueled organization committed to fundamental change for racial justice, equity and access for Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) throughout Canada. We are emboldened by the call for a ‘new humanity’ that collectively promotes a 'new humanized social contract' for all people. The aim is to bring a new standard of human relations embodied in the enduring aspirations of people, transformative change and people-centered programming that engenders respect for their human rights, wellbeing and social mobility through engagement, leadership and inclusion. The New Humanity Initiative® is a catalyst for responsible and intentional actions by working with organizations, governments and communities throughout Canada to deconstruct systemic racism, oppression and social injustices to bring societal change through awareness, advocacy and intentional actions. Our work is contextualized by three core ethos - human equity, access and, leadership and inclusion - to shape the narratives and efforts of racialized communities to enable access to resource-based opportunities and improve the social determinants of health and well-being for Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) in our society.
