Too many primary school children go hungry, directly affecting their ability to concentrate, engage and enjoy school. Even those who are not readily identified as “disadvantaged” can go hungry. Eat Up is an Australian not-for-profit that helps feed hungry kids. We partner with existing organisations to create a new service that provides healthy lunches for children at no cost. This simple but powerful project is helping to ensure some of the most vulnerable children in our community are having their basic nutritional needs met.
