With 7 branches in Veneto, 1 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and 1 in Sardinia, Sergio Bassan Srl, has been selling leading-edge products since 1957, including John Deere and Kobelco. Over the years, the company has become a landmark for farmers in north-eastern Italy, thanks to the quality of its service, the professionalism of its staff, and its capillary network covering the entire concession territory, establishing itself as one of the top 3 dealers of agricultural and earth-moving machinery in Italy. The company was established in Dueville (VI) in 1957 from an idea of Piero Bassan, a young farmer, who sensed the importance and development of mechanisation in agriculture. In 1993, his son Sergio, who had experienced the world of agriculture with great curiosity from an early age, set out on his own path, moving the headquarters to Costabissara (VI): in this same year, Sergio Bassan became the official John Deere dealer for the provinces of Vicenza and Padua. Over the years (2005-2013), the relationship with the American company grew and was consolidated with mutual esteem and trust: as a result, the provinces of Rovigo, Treviso, Padua and Venice were entrusted to Sergio Bassan S.r.l.. 2016 represents a momentous turning point: first of all, as a result of growth in synergy according to the guidelines of parent company John Deere, the province of Verona is also entrusted under concession. Also in 2016, Sergio Bassan S.r.l. entered the earthmoving business, becoming importer for the Triveneto area of the prestigious Japanese brand Kobelco. In addition to its partnerships with John Deere and Kobelco, in 2018 Sergio Bassan S.r.l. became a Kramer dealer, in 2020 the importer of Vaderstad equipment, and in 2022 the sole importer for Italy for the Ploeger brand. For several years it has also been working with the world's leading brands. In February 2022, Sergio Bassan S.r.l was officially admitted to the ELITE S.p.A. Network and Services.
