Møreforsking conducts research in community planning, welfare, logistics, and business and transport economics. In addition, Møreforsking does applied research and development work aimed at marine and maritime industries. We accept assignments for clients from business and public sectors both regionally, nationally and internationally. Møreforsking is owned by Møre og Romsdal county, the university colleges of Molde and Volda, NTNU, the company Aakerblaa and the Møreforsking Foundation. Møreforsking enjoys a close professional and research partnership with the university colleges and NTNU in the county, and represents their main agent for handling externally financed research commissions / projects. Møreforsking is part of the national institutional sector, but at the same time has a special responsibility for working with research and competence transfer to industry, the local community and public administration in Møre og Romsdal.
