9 Romanian young photographers, who recently graduated from Bucharest Art School, Photography class with the goal to use photography art as a promotion tool for civic projects that raise and treat a range of subjects with a high impact rate. We are looking to use the photojournalism in civic awareness projects, charity projects and any other stories which were neglected or on-purpose avoided. We intend to become a strong public media entity, an opinion former regarding subjects that politics and modern society are avoiding. We are interested in delicate topics, environmental issues, war crimes, dark pages of history, hunger, discriminated minorities, children in need, cultural irregularities, poverty and any other subject which consists a cry for help has the right to be publically known. We will use our cameras to amplify these cries, to bring them out in public sight as problems that cannot be hidden anymore. Our motto is “Change starts with an image” and it’s probably good enough to make everyone understand who we are, what we do and what we believe in. So we have a powerful tool in our hands and we are using it to raise attention on making good things happen. If at the end of a project we succeed in changing the opinion of merely one mind; if our images are able to influence at least one soul; if our beliefs will improve the life of at least one person, then our goal will be achieved.
