The bone marrow is the spongy tissue inside the bones, where the cells of the immune system are formed. Leukaemia and other blood cancers change how the bone marrow is organized as a tissue, and mpixl can detect those changes. We are currently setting up collaborations to start first-in human clinical trials to fully validate mPixl products in the clinical scenario. When validated, mPixl products can be used (1) in screening of high-risk patients allowing earlier detection of bone marrow abnormalities; (2) for disease monitoring, as our solution allows faster therapy adjustment and earlier identification of resistance to therapy or relapse.
