Serinus Health Safety and Environment

Serinus Health Safety and Environment is a team of highly skilled and experienced scientists, engineers, project managers and senior leaders dedicated to helping business create safe and healthy workplaces and an environmentally sustainable future. Serinus canaria forma domestica is the scientific name for the canaries that helped, for decades, to secure the safety of thousands of coal miners around the world. Since then, the ‘canary in a coal mine’ has become a metaphor for early warning of adverse conditions or danger. It seemed like the perfect name for a team dedicated to securing the wellbeing of workers and the community. Each member of the team has at least 30 years working to improve the lives of workers and members of the community across a wide range of industry sectors in 28 countries. We’ve experienced firsthand the despair and human suffering caused by environmental degradation, workplace incidents, illness, fatalities and disasters, and the impact on families and loved ones. Because of our life experiences, helping to improve living conditions and prevent injury, illness and fatalities is not just a job, it’s a personal calling. Serinus Health Safety and Environment is your ‘canary in a coal mine’. We have the experience and deep expertise you need to help identify and fix your health, safety, quality and environmental problems before they become critical issues. Our specialist team’s experience includes working with many private clients such as large and small mining operations, gas operations, engineering companies, public corporations, property and infrastructure developers, agriculture and utilities. It extends to World Bank, AusAID, Asian Development Bank and Chinese, German, Indian, United States and New Zealand Governments, as well as Australian Federal, State and Local Governments; across a wide range of disciplines.
