Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat Christchurch provides housing solutions where people are the centre of the process. We partner with people to improve their circumstances. We do this through wise selection, financial coaching and incentives and engaging people in maintaining their homes. We offer a range of housing products ranging from home repair to supported rental and affordable home ownership that support this journey. Aligned with Habitat NZ and other affiliates, our projects aim to address the six dimensions of housing poverty: affordability, suitability, habitability, tenure security, freedom from crowding, and freedom from discrimination.
