The Value Engineering Research Institute (VERI) is studying the principles and processes to analyze “value” and create “value”. The research results are applied in the fields of marketing, business recovery, new business development, growth of start-up companies (value development), investment, medical and health economic analysis etc.. Many of the values in society are artificially created, while the quality of life (QOL) of people is greatly influenced by these artificial values. By evaluating the relationship between “value” and “value standards” as price (amount of money as a ruler) and deeply analyzing the relationship with “economy”, and by studying the quantification of values (monetary value) difficult to measure such as the cost-effectiveness of investment value, corporate value, business value, wellness value etc., VERI aims to contribute to improving the quality of life (QOL) of people.
