Loftus Insurance Brokers Ltd was set up in the year 2000 by Liam and Shane Loftus. Both Liam and Shane had worked previously in the Insurance Industry with Liam concentrating on General Insurance and Shane on The Life and Pensions sector. The new company brought together three existing brokerages, Gray Insurances of Boyle, McGuire Insurances and William Farrell & Son Insurances, Carrick on Shannon. Since the Brokerage was set up, we have seen many changes in the industry. We have seen companies leave the market and new companies come into the market. Technology has vastly changed the way in which business is carried out but insurance is such a varied subject that knowledge of the business is now more than ever what is required. All staff dealing with Insurance must now be qualified and ongoing education is to the forefront of the Insurance Industry. Our aim when we set up the Company was to provide a friendly and professional service to our clients, which we believe we have and to continue this into the future.
