OUR STORY Our fruit retail shop, Chop Khim Teah, was founded by our late grandfather in the 1970s. Unfortunately, he passed on in his late 40s. The shop was left unattended. Someone has to take on the role of managing the business. In the early 1990s, under the leadership of his son, Kok You, he decided to build a cold room specifically to house the fruits to retain its freshness and quality. Since then, we have expanded from solely serving retailers to attracting new customers from an array of organizations to purchase our products. We are also a member of the Singapore Fruits & Vegetables Importers & Exporters Association (SFVIEA) to promote fruit import businesses and forge business links within the fruit and vegetable business cluster.
