Design Collection Denmark (DCD) was founded in 2006, where its journey began in Singapore. Today, the company continues to own and manage the retail operations of Bang & Olufsen’s flagship stores in Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney; and is the brand’s appointed master distributor across the Asia Pacific region.  In addition to Bang & Olufsen, DCD’s brand portfolio also includes a collection of Danish lifestyle brands including Ro Collection, Silkeborg Uldspinderi, Christina Lundsteen and One A. With DCD’s vision of taking Danish design brands global, the brands are distributed through DCD’s expansive retail, wholesale and operational network across Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, with close to 1,000 point of sales in about 100 countries across the 3 continents. With 3 offices strategically located in Denmark, Singapore and Australia, the DCD team supports its network globally through its strengths in marketing, sales and effective point of sale solutions, allowing their partners and brands to focus on growth, without compromising on their unique DNA and heritage. In May 2021, Design Collection embarked on an exciting journey with the Lars Larsen Group, the latter becoming 30% owner of the company. Design Collection is focused on its company vision of taking Danish design brands global, a commitment it takes to showcase the unique expressions of Danish design and functionality to the world outside of Scandinavia.
