FAPAV was founded in 1988 as a no-profit association for the protection of Intellectual Property, copyright and related rights and to contrast all the forms of illegal copying of movies and audiovisual contents in order to protect its own members and the entire audiovisual sector. FAPAV’s permanent members are: ANEC, ANEM, ANICA, MPA and UNIVIDEO. Some of the most important Italian companies of TV production and distribution of audiovisual and cinematographic works are FAPAV’s members.
