John William Carey founded Taj Strategies, L.L.C. to engage audiences using the latest marketing practices, website analytics and social media trends. He is a diligent, dynamic and creative professional with relationship building skills and storytelling skills suited for planning, managing, or executing any type of national, state, or local project. John has worked with elected officials, policy-makers, non-profit organizations, and professional staff to motivate and influence target audiences, gaining valuable management experience and focusing on flexibility, accountability and respect for everyone. John’s communications experience includes drafting press materials and public remarks, all aspects of press outreach, news monitoring, on-line outreach, and rapid response. John’s organizing experience includes managing grassroots and grasstops campaigns and recruiting and retaining paid and volunteer staff or contractors. John was born in Bangalore, India and lived overseas. He attended American University in Washington, D.C. and lives in Centreville, VA with his family. He enjoys athletics, politics, and cooking.
