Dryland Fitness by Gravity Haus
www.dryland.fitnessAs parents, we enroll our kids in organized sports thinking of all the benefits: physical, mental and social that come from being an athlete. We often don’t consider the risks of injury, burnout, and pressure to perform. As a result of today’s single-discipline sports culture, we have seen a sharp rise in overuse injuries caused by repetitive trauma to tendons, bones, and joints that are still developing. We also see kids feeling overwhelmed instead of happy and confident. We created Dryland Fitness to reinvigorate balance, fun, and sportsmanship into the culture of single-discipline club sports. Our goal is to help reduce burnout and injury in our young athletes and help every athlete be THEIR best. Our trainers have competed at the highest levels of their sport and out of their experiences have developed Dryland Fitness' classes to train the “whole athlete.” Our classes teach athletes pre-habilitation and warm-up routines, post-workout and post-game recovery, in addition to building strength, speed, and endurance in a fun, positive and multi-sport setting. Whatever your canvas — the field, the mountain, the court, the ice, or the pool,— be YOUR best — #doyourdryland.
