SBN Wälzlager was founded in 1998 with just four employees. All the employees were former personnel of Schaeffler Wälzlager (INA) with many years of experience in the international rolling bearing business. The first location was a startup centre in Homburg and the product range was covered by a catalogue with 18 pages. Due to the rapid growth of the company, larger business premises were urgently required. In 2000, an administrative building and a warehouse were formally opened. The warehouse facilities were substantially expanded in 2003. We now have about 20 employees, conduct our own employee training and achieve sales to the value of tens of millions. Our product range is covered in a dimensional catalogue with 120 pages and we also provide a wide range of special bearings in accordance with customer specifications. Our customer base comprises small and medium sized companies, some of whom are acknowledged world leaders in their market sectors. For many years, our satisfied customers have included some companies listed on the DAX index.
