ThingsCon is Europe’s leading conference about the future of hardware, connected devices and Internet of Things (IoT). Started in Berlin, it is growing into a global community of like-minded practitioners around Internet of Things and new hardware. ThingsCon fosters the creation of a human-centric & responsible IoT. To this end it provides practitioners with an open environment for reflection & collaborative action. ThingsCon Milan is locally organised by THINGS Srl with the collaboration of other Partners. ThingsCon Milan started with meet-ups in 2016. In 2017 we grew into a "extended Salon" with about 400 attendees, the ThingsCon Milan Design Week named tech.NO.MAD - feeling at home everywhere; was a 5 day event (5-9th April) of exhibitions, talks and workshops exploring the different aspects of the neo-nomadic lifestyle. Engage with several interactive IoT products, prototypes and concepts that touch the emotional aspects of the nomadic behaviours. We led the visitor's view on data sharing through a fun and interactive installation. This year we are organising the conference on mid November with the title, SmartCity for Intelligent Shopping - Designing smarter urban retails with responsible IoT.
