WORLD CLASS SCHOOLS QUALITY MARK is an education charity based out of Southdown Road, Harpenden, England, United Kingdom. Our mission is to improve the quality of education and opportunities for students in non-selective state schools in the UK. Our work centres round our unique framework of characteristics which develops student character across a range of educational and vocational areas including learning, leadership, community, the workplace and an understanding of global issues. Our WCSQM accreditation process assesses schools (primary, secondary, special and international) against our robust framework of characteristics aimed at developing student character. Students achieve accreditation on behalf of their school by demonstrating World Class characteristics across areas including leadership, learning, community, commitment to achievement, the workplace and an understanding of global issues. Our WCSQM Online App is available as a subscription to all non-selective state schools to give students across their cohort access to the framework in order to develop and demonstrate their World Class characteristics, working towards World Class accreditation. We work with a growing number of WCSQM Alumni students to offer opportunities for character, career and education development through peer to peer networking and partnerships with corporate, further education and charity partners.
