HISTORY Infrastructure Consultants (INFRACON) Ltd, formerly Romana Consulting Engineers, is a Project Management and Engineering Consulting firm registered in 2003 in the Republic of Malawi. Since inception, INFRACON Ltd has provided a wide range of services to: government agencies, multilateral institutions, non-governmental organizations, individuals and the private sector. INFRACON Ltd is also one of only three Project Management Consulting firms recognized by and registered with the National Construction Industry Council (NCIC). INFRACON Ltd maintains membership with a number of reputable organizations both locally and internationally. These include the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) and the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), by virtue of its membership in the Association of Consulting Engineers in Malawi (ACEM). All Engineers are active members of various professional organizations such as the Malawi Institution of Engineers (MIE) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). INFRACON Ltd has grown steadily by consistently offering excellent services to its clients and maintaining professional integrity. The company is currently embarking on becoming the first in the industry to attain the International Standards Organization (ISO) certification (ISO 9001) for Quality Management. This will ensure that INFRACON Ltd offers Clients and other stakeholders the highest standards with respect to service, reliability, innovation, safety and care for the environment.
