Originally selling Ford Model T's out of a hardware store in Arlington, TX, Frank Sewell moved his family and business to Crane, TX during the great depression. In 1930, Frank's son, Carl Sewell founded the Crane Motor Company with the help of his brother Woody. In 1935 the brothers purchased the Ford dealership in Odessa, TX where it is still in operation to this day. Sewell also owns Lincoln, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Toyota dealerships to serve the wide variety of their customers. In his role as company president, Collin Sewell continues the Sewell tradition.
