Washitaw Foothills Youth Media Arts & Literacy Collective tells the stories of our often forgotten history, making visible the hidden social determinants in our under resourced communities. Instead of trying to "give our youth a voice," we work with them to provide the resources and tools necessary to harness, and then express, the innate power within their own voices. Washitaw Foothills Youth Media Arts & Literacy Collective a community-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Pulaski County, Arkansas, that aims to challenge established thinking through hands-on, multimedia-based, experiential learning.
