We provide leadership development and coaching services to leaders and organizations of all sizes and shapes - why? Because leadership, is leadership, is leadership. The challenges may be different, but the same principles always apply. Leadership is a journey. We never stop learning, and when it comes to leadership, there’s no such thing as passing the course and saying, that’s it, I’m now a leader with nothing more to learn. So this is why we created Impact Leadership. We’re all in this together, continuously learning, adapting, failing, and improving to be the best we can be. It’s not easy, but the rewards are worth it. For too long we thought that just because someone was good at their job then they would be good in a leadership position, often promoting the top technical person, because, well, they were best at what they did. But leadership is not simply an extension of the technical area. It is its own domain. A whole profession that we need to learn and adapt to if we’re going to succeed. So many times we provide training to employees so they can do their job, but rarely do we put as much importance into the training of those who receive leadership jobs. When it is received, it’s often ad-hoc, and certainly never timely enough that leaders receive it before they really need it. So we want to change that.
