Thomas Heneage & Co Limited trading as Thomas Heneage Art Books is an iconic art bookshop with an international reputation and market that was founded in 1977. We are proud to be the UK's largest and one of the World's leading art bookshops. Our shop in London's gallery district of St. James's focuses on selling art books. We specialize in books for art collectors and the art market, our core business being in catalogues raisonnés, monographs and international exhibition catalogues. It is our policy to stock the most authoritative book on any subject and in any language, irrespective of its being new or second hand. We purchase select books and entire libraries internationally from collectors, curators, and dealers. Recent acquisitions include those of glass dealer Christopher Sheppard, art historians: Andrew Causey, John House, Jim Draper; Philip Conisbee. We also build and maintain bespoke libraries, tailored to our clients’ interests, and offer wedding list and gift mailing services. Our shop hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6pm, otherwise by appointment (closed public holidays).
