Bannockburn House Trust was formed in 2017 by the local community to buy out the historic 26 acre estate of Bannockburn House. The House is 350 years old with the estate being the site of part of the Battle of Bannockburn - The Bloody Faulds - as well as Bonnie Prince Charlie's Jacobite army HQ in 1745/46. The local community, through a large and growing band of volunteers, now run Bannockburn House. Our role includes the restoration of the House and estate as well as delivering its commercial social and environmental impacts. Through community controlled commercial development, we aim to create jobs and training opportunities as well as ensure that the House and estate flourishes over the next 350 years.
