Young Women Against Sexual Violence Ltd (YWASV) provides a safe space for people with lived experience of sexual violence to come together and empower themselves by taking action and having their voices heard. We do this by holding events at art galleries, music venues and creative spaces throughout the city, where people can share their stories through art, music, poetry, speaking, and letter exhibitions. These events also function to raise awareness about the prevalence and normalisation of sexual violence and engage the community in reflective conversations about our own attitudes and behaviours.
