in late 2014, Sydney hotelier Nick Wills of The Balmain Pub Group purchased The Greenwood Hotel with a vision. After more than 20 years, the once spectacular venue was in need of some love. Having worked at the pub whilst a university some 20 years prior, Nick was determined to recreate The Greenwood Hotel and make it the superb venue he knew it could be. The Greenwood Hotel has since undergone a complete transformation and refresh to bring it up to the discerning standards of the new Sydney Hotel scene. The space has undergone a dramatic overhaul with major renovations and completely new décor throughout. The new look Greenwood Hotel is brighter and more spacious, giving this glorious piece of Sydney architecture the character, charm and atmosphere it deserves.
